Jennifer Bevilacqua, MHN

*Jennifer Bevilacqua, MHN (pronounced:bevva-lock-waa) radiates wellness.

Jennifer’s passion is to empower and motivate her clients to make the healthiest choices for themselves and their families. Her emphasis is on preventative health care utilizing whole foods, natural remedies, stress management, physical fitness, and emotional well being as part of every plan. These customized and integrated programs provide lifelong changes that are practical, simple, and effective.


After moving to the South Bay area of Los Angeles from San Francisco, Jennifer began working for a nutrition company in Redondo Beach providing individual consultations and leading group nutrition programs. Here she gained more exposure in the field of clinical and functional nutrition.

Jennifer received her Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College, Birmingham, Alabama. Ongoing, Jennifer attends numerous seminars in functional nutrition and natural medicine gaining greater perspective and knowledge about the intricacies of the human body.

Jennifer has expanded her repertoire by starting her own successful nutrition consulting practice. She also teaches cooking classes, lectures, and presents educational programs at various venues.

Jennifer also teaches Hatha yoga. In addition to caring for her two small children, Olive and Joey, she also enjoys being outdoors, reading, and sharing great meals with her husband and friends.


Jennifer will be on maternity leave through August 2008. Deanne will be covering for Jennifer in her absence.

Raise your glass or bottle of water and drinking to your good health. Thirst is often mistaken for hunger. A University of Washington study showed that one glass of water turned off midnight hunger pangs for almost 100 percent of dieters.
 

Deanne Newton believes achieving well-being means looking at the complete picture: overall health, nutrition and activity level.  She focuses on creating holistic yet practical programs for clients that address individual needs and interests and fit into busy schedules. Her goal is for you to have fun as you get healthier.

Deanne’s background supports her multi-faceted approach to optimal health. She is a certified nutritionist and holds both a Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Baylor College of Medicine and a Master of Education in Exercise Science and Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Georgia.

She has worked as a physician assistant in the field of orthopedic surgery and currently works part-time as a PA in dermatology.  Her background in medicine will enable her to coordinate with your physician to devise a program that takes into account any medical conditions or symptoms.  She has also worked as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer for many years and can help you find a fun and challenging way to become physically fit.  As a nutritionist, she can guide you to make good food choices at the grocery store, in restaurants and at home, resulting in a diet that will help you feel healthier and more energetic.

In her free time, Deanne enjoys swimming, cooking, reading and yoga. She has completed several sprint triathlons and plans to complete the Vineman Aquabike next year.
